Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead QA automation initiatives using Selenium/Cypress to enhance test coverage and CI/CD integration
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define acceptance criteria and quality metrics
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity/priority classification
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical issues and drive preventive measures
- Maintain test environments and ensure data integrity for accurate testing
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in quality engineering
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with 2+ years in fintech or regulated industries
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Certification in ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent quality assurance credential
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or JavaScript for test scripting
- Demonstrated experience with agile methodologies and test-driven development
