Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Document defects in JIRA with detailed reproducible steps and severity analysis
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement preventive measures
- Champion quality initiatives through test-driven development (TDD) practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/SDLC with SaaS applications
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and API testing (Postman/RestAssured)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA workflows
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology training
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Knowledge of security testing (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite) a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
