Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress to accelerate delivery cycles
- Execute manual and automated tests across web/mobile platforms in Agile/Scrum environments
- Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and quality metrics
- Analyze defects using JIRA and drive root cause analysis with engineering teams
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion continuous improvement in QA processes
- Conduct exploratory testing and usability reviews to enhance user experience
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience in software development lifecycle
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python/Java) and SQL for test scripting
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience with fintech or SaaS products and security testing
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments with ambiguous requirements
