Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead root cause analysis for defects using JIRA and defect tracking methodologies
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define testable requirements and acceptance criteria
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines with automated testing integration for rapid releases
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish QA best practices across the organization
- Generate actionable test reports and quality metrics for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA roles with emphasis on test automation frameworks
- Expertise in API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman or similar tools
- Proficiency in SQL for database validation and test data management
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and continuous integration practices
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test scenarios
