Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium/Cypress to accelerate testing cycles and maintain 90%+ test coverage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Analyze defect trends and proactively identify systemic quality risks
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion best practices in continuous testing
- Execute exploratory testing to uncover edge cases in complex payment processing workflows
- Drive test environment optimization and infrastructure improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA roles with 2+ years in fintech or regulated industries
- Expert proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with Jira/GitLab
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, K6) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Certification in ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent quality methodology
- Proficiency in SQL and database testing for complex transactional systems
- Demonstrated success in implementing shift-left testing strategies
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in complex scenarios
