Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks from scratch using Python or Java.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and software engineers to define acceptance criteria for complex features.
- Execute rigorous regression, integration, and performance testing cycles across distributed cloud environments.
- Champion a 'Quality First' mindset by mentoring junior team members and performing thorough code reviews.
- Identify, document, and track high-impact defects through Jira, ensuring swift resolution and root cause analysis.
- Participate in agile ceremonies to drive process optimization and shorten release feedback loops.
- Stay at the forefront of QA methodology by evaluating and integrating cutting-edge testing tools and CI/CD enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in automated software testing for web and mobile applications.
- Advanced proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or Java) and testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to software debugging.
