Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive end-to-end test suites for complex distributed systems.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define acceptance criteria and test strategies.
- Architect and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on production issues to prevent future regressions.
- Mentor junior QA members and drive the adoption of testing best practices across the engineering team.
- Perform API testing and validation of data integrity within high-volume microservices.
- Optimize continuous integration pipelines to increase deployment frequency without sacrificing quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, specifically within a SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, or TypeScript).
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Strong understanding of SQL and non-relational database testing concepts.
- Proven ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment with rapid release cycles.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems under tight deadlines.
