Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and automation frameworks for web/mobile applications
- Lead end-to-end QA processes including functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and quality standards
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA while driving resolution to closure
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement preventive measures
- Stay current with industry testing tools and methodologies (Selenium, Cypress, Postman)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with 3+ years in automated testing
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress)
- Strong proficiency in API testing (REST/SOAP) and tools like Postman
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certified Tester (ISTQB) or equivalent QA certification preferred
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
