Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end QA test plans for complex web and mobile applications
- Lead automation framework development using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Execute manual and automated testing across multiple browsers and devices
- Document defects with detailed steps and severity levels in JIRA
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and improve quality processes
- Champion continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ years in automation
- Expertise in test automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python/Java)
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience testing cloud-based SaaS applications and RESTful APIs
- Proficient in performance and security testing tools (JMeter, OWASP ZAP)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
