Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, performance, security, and usability requirements
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
- Lead root cause analysis of production defects and implement preventive measures
- Champion quality metrics across sprints using JIRA, TestRail, and Grafana dashboards
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish QA best practices across engineering teams
- Validate cloud infrastructure deployments across AWS/GCP environments
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in QA/Testing with 3+ years in SaaS or cloud environments
- Expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/Java)
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, test-driven development, and continuous integration
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security scanning (OWASP ZAP)
- Proficient in database testing (SQL) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Demonstrated success in mentoring QA teams and implementing quality metrics
