Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications using Selenium and Appium.
- Lead root-cause analysis for production defects and implement preventative measures to ensure high-quality releases.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to define clear, concise acceptance criteria for new features.
- Execute load and stress testing to ensure platform stability under high-traffic conditions.
- Mentor junior QA staff and foster a culture of quality-first development within the engineering department.
- Manage the continuous integration (CI) pipeline to streamline deployment cycles.
- Maintain detailed documentation of testing protocols and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on test automation.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- In-depth understanding of SQL and database management for backend verification.
- Strong analytical mindset with an obsessive attention to detail.
- Experience with cloud-based testing infrastructure like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs is a plus.
