Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and implement quality gates in CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and drive corrective actions
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing technologies
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Implement test data management strategies and security testing protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in testing web applications, APIs (REST/SOAP), and mobile platforms
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology preferred
- Demonstrated success in implementing QA strategies in agile environments
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with problem-solving mindset
