Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Python to accelerate CI/CD pipelines
- Lead defect management in JIRA, ensuring 99.5% bug resolution rates before releases
- Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and test coverage metrics
- Conduct cross-browser compatibility testing across Chrome, Firefox, and Safari
- Mentor QA engineers on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Implement API testing using Postman and REST-assured for microservices architecture
Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA roles with SaaS/web application experience
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks (Selenium/Cypress) and CI/CD integration
- Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript for test automation
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and agile development methodologies
- Certified ScrumMaster or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Proficiency in SQL for database testing and data validation
- Demonstrated ability to lead quality initiatives in fast-paced environments
