Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end QA test plans, scripts, and automation frameworks for complex web and mobile applications
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring thorough documentation and prioritization of issues
- Conduct comprehensive functional, regression, performance, and security testing across multiple platforms
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for quality assurance methodologies
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development teams for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define quality standards and acceptance criteria
- Stay current with emerging testing tools and industry trends to maintain competitive edge
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of QA experience
- Expertise in automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent is highly desirable
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and test-driven practices
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
