Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test plans covering functional, performance, security, and accessibility requirements
- Lead automation framework development using Selenium/Cypress for critical fintech applications
- Execute exploratory testing to identify edge cases in complex payment processing systems
- Coordinate with DevOps to establish CI/CD pipelines with embedded quality gates
- Mentor junior QA engineers through peer reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Generate comprehensive test reports with actionable metrics for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA engineering with 2+ years in fintech or high-compliance industries
- Expertise in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting languages (Python/Java)
- Strong background in API testing (REST/SOAP) and performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA/Confluence workflows
- Certified Tester (ISTQB) or equivalent security testing certification preferred
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into test scenarios
