Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD integration
- Execute exploratory testing to identify edge cases and user experience gaps
- Collaborate with Product/Dev teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Document test cases, defects, and quality reports in JIRA/Confluence
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Champion quality initiatives throughout the SDLC
Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA roles with 3+ years in test automation
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Strong experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Proficiency in SQL and database validation techniques
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced preferred
- Familiarity with fintech compliance standards (PCI-DSS, SOX)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
