Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for complex web and mobile applications
- Lead quality assurance initiatives across Agile/Scrum development cycles, ensuring timely delivery of defect-free releases
- Execute functional, regression, performance, and security testing using industry-standard tools like Selenium, JIRA, and Postman
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality and development processes
- Mentor QA team members and establish best practices for testing methodologies and documentation
- Collaborate with product managers to define acceptance criteria and quality gates for new features
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes and tooling infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of QA experience
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and defect tracking systems
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and QA best practices in SaaS environments
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Certifications in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodologies preferred
- Experience with API testing and database validation (SQL, NoSQL)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
