Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks using Selenium/Cypress
- Lead end-to-end testing cycles including functional, regression, performance, and security validation
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and defect reports with JIRA/Confluence integration
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes and tooling
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and implement preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish QA best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on QA experience with SaaS/web applications
- Expertise in test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
- Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation (SQL)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect lifecycle management
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
