Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for web/mobile applications
- Lead QA processes including regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality risks and define mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing integration
- Analyze test results, document defects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality metrics for product releases
- Stay current with industry testing tools and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience without degree)
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and programming languages (Python, Java)
- Proven experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect management processes
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodologies preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
