Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Implement automated testing frameworks using Selenium and Cypress to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring critical issues are resolved with SLA compliance
- Conduct root cause analysis of production defects and drive preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality initiatives across cross-functional teams
- Validate compliance with ISO 9001 and PCI-DSS security standards
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define quality KPIs and release criteria
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in QA roles with 2+ years in leadership positions
- Expertise in test automation (Selenium, Cypress) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices
- Certification in ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent preferred
- Experience with fintech or high-transaction systems highly desirable
- Proficient in SQL and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
