Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Execute exploratory testing to identify edge cases and user experience flaws
- Analyze defect trends and drive root-cause analysis across cross-functional teams
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
- Develop test documentation including test cases, reports, and quality metrics dashboards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience in SaaS environments with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL database validation
- Strong knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and defect lifecycle management
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
