Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex software applications
- Execute manual and automated testing, including regression, integration, and performance testing
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring thorough documentation and resolution tracking
- Collaborate with product and development teams to define quality standards and release criteria
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with automated testing tools like Selenium and Cypress
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and drive preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote quality engineering best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with 2+ years in automated testing
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and QA practices in DevOps environments
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and defect tracking systems
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
