Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Automate test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and implement root cause analysis methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and test coverage metrics
- Champion quality initiatives through requirements reviews, design validation, and user acceptance testing
- Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, cases, and execution reports
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote continuous improvement in quality processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (5+ years experience accepted in lieu of degree)
- 5+ years of hands-on QA experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Expert proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/JavaScript)
- Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle management
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into testable scenarios
- Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams
