Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation framework development using Selenium, Cypress, and custom Python scripts
- Execute exploratory testing and create detailed test cases/specifications
- Analyze defects using JIRA and drive root cause analysis initiatives
- Champion continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) quality gate implementation
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality metrics/KPIs
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with SaaS/web applications
- Expertise in automation testing frameworks and tools
- Strong programming skills (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Proven track record of implementing test-driven development
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
