Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium or Playwright.
- Conduct thorough functional, regression, and integration testing across the entire SDLC.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define clear, concise acceptance criteria.
- Lead root-cause analysis for production defects and implement preventative strategies.
- Perform comprehensive performance and load testing to ensure system scalability.
- Mentor junior QA members and foster a culture of quality-first development.
- Manage test data and environment configurations to ensure accurate test execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or automated testing roles.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript, or Java).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
- Deep understanding of RESTful API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Proven ability to write complex SQL queries for backend data validation.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with Jira or equivalent project management tools.
