Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using Selenium and Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define comprehensive test strategies for new feature releases.
- Lead root-cause analysis efforts for critical production issues to prevent future regressions.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable deployments without compromising stability.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of high-quality software craftsmanship.
- Conduct thorough exploratory testing to uncover edge cases in complex microservices architectures.
- Manage defect tracking, reporting, and resolution workflows using Jira.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or SDET roles.
- Advanced proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript, or Java).
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and Docker.
- Deep understanding of API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or Insomnia.
- Strong grasp of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical gaps between QA and Product teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
