Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automated test suites using Selenium and Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria for new features.
- Perform root cause analysis of production issues and implement preventive measures.
- Lead QA initiatives, including mentoring junior team members and advocating for shift-left testing practices.
- Manage continuous integration (CI) pipelines to ensure automated testing is integrated into our deployment lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough regression, performance, and security testing to ensure application stability.
- Document testing protocols and maintain high standards for technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in automated software testing and QA.
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for test scripting.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proven experience working with cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency in SQL for backend data verification and API testing tools like Postman.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
