Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans for complex web applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quality gates early in the SDLC.
- Mentor junior QA staff and conduct peer code reviews for test automation scripts.
- Develop and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Perform root cause analysis on production defects and advocate for architectural improvements.
- Coordinate UAT sessions with stakeholders to ensure product requirements are met.
- Drive the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines for optimal build quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, or TypeScript).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API testing and database validation.
- Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Exceptional analytical skills with an uncompromising eye for detail.
