Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Lead the automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Identify, track, and prioritize defects using JIRA and manage the bug lifecycle effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to define quality requirements early in the SDLC.
- Perform regression testing on major releases and ensure zero critical bugs reach production.
- Mentor junior QA members and conduct code reviews for test scripts.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Strong proficiency in automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Java).
- Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
