Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for complex web and mobile applications
- Lead QA initiatives across the entire SDLC, including regression testing, performance testing, and security validation
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes using industry-standard tools like Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail
- Collaborate with developers to identify root causes of defects and implement preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality metrics for team performance
- Conduct exploratory testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate product requirements
- Stay current with emerging QA technologies and methodologies to maintain competitive edge
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of QA experience
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and programming languages (Python, Java)
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with JIRA, Confluence, and version control (Git)
- Certifications in ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent QA credentials preferred
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable test scenarios
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail and documentation excellence
