Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functional, performance, and security requirements
- Execute manual and automated testing using Selenium, Cypress, and JUnit frameworks
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development teams
- Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing pipelines
- Lead cross-functional quality assurance initiatives and mentor junior QA engineers
- Document defects using JIRA and track resolution metrics
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define quality standards and acceptance criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and software testing
- Expertise in automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress) and programming languages (Java, Python)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB certification preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman)
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into test scenarios
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
