Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate validation cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring clear tracking and resolution
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement preventative measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for quality engineering
- Integrate QA processes within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab
- Validate compliance with ISO 9001 and industry-specific regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with emphasis on test automation
- Expertise in designing test frameworks and performance testing tools (LoadRunner, K6)
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Bash for test data manipulation
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTP) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience with API testing using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI
- Demonstrated success in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional collaboration
- Portfolio of implemented QA improvements showing measurable impact
