Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring clear tracking and resolution prioritization
- Conduct exploratory testing and root cause analysis to identify critical edge cases
- Mentor junior QA engineers and evangelize quality-first development practices
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria
- Generate actionable quality metrics dashboards for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience in SaaS environments with proven test automation expertise
- Mastery of testing tools: Selenium, JIRA, Postman, Appium, and performance testing platforms
- Strong programming skills in Python/Java and scripting languages
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies and QA best practices
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA framework
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
