Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for complex software systems
- Lead manual and automated testing initiatives including functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define quality requirements and acceptance criteria
- Execute defect management processes using industry-standard tools (Jira, TestRail) with detailed reporting
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical issues and drive continuous improvement in QA processes
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for quality assurance across the organization
- Stay current with emerging QA technologies and methodologies to maintain competitive testing standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of QA experience
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or similar) with proven track record
- Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC methodologies and agile development practices
- Certifications in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodologies preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test scenarios
- Proficiency in defect tracking systems and test management platforms
