Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate testing cycles
- Champion quality metrics through JIRA, TestRail, and defect tracking systems
- Collaborate with Product/Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and implement preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/testing with 3+ years in test automation
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, and Python/Java for automation frameworks
- Strong background in API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL databases
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect lifecycle management
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
