Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA test plans for web, mobile, and API applications
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to enhance testing efficiency
- Execute manual and automated testing cycles including regression, performance, and security validation
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and quality metrics
- Document test results, defects, and improvement opportunities in JIRA and Confluence
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish continuous improvement processes
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with focus on automation frameworks
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern testing tools (Cypress, Jest, Puppeteer)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with Jenkins/GitLab
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, K6) and security testing methodologies
- Experience with API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development principles
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify edge cases in distributed architectures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and documentation rigor
