Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans for complex web and mobile applications
- Lead end-to-end testing including functional, regression, performance, and security validation
- Automate testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-leading tools
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Execute exploratory testing and document detailed defect reports in JIRA
- Champion CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing and quality gates
- Mentor QA team members and conduct quality training sessions
- Analyze test data to identify trends and drive process improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with focus on web/mobile applications
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium)
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL)
- Certified QA Engineer (CSTE) or equivalent preferred
- Proven track record of improving defect detection rates by 30%+
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
