Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead quality initiatives in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab
- Document defects and track resolution in JIRA with clear severity metrics
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion QA best practices across departments
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement preventive measures
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with 3+ years in automated testing
- Expertise in API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and database validation (SQL)
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python/Java) and test frameworks
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
