Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress and implement CI/CD pipelines for test integration
- Identify, document, and track defects through JIRA with clear prioritization
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and drive preventive actions
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for quality engineering
- Collaborate with product managers to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
- Implement and maintain test environments mirroring production infrastructure
- Generate quality metrics dashboards for stakeholder reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years QA experience)
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Familiarity with security testing methodologies (OWASP, penetration testing)
- Proficiency in defect tracking systems and agile workflows
- Certification in ISTQB or similar quality assurance framework
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
