Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Develop automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and other industry-leading tools
- Lead defect lifecycle management from identification through resolution in JIRA
- Conduct root cause analysis of product failures and drive quality improvements
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for testing methodologies
- Integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Perform exploratory testing and user acceptance testing for complex web applications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with 2+ years in automation
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and CI/CD processes
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Proficient in SQL, Linux, and REST API testing
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
