Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright while maintaining CI/CD pipeline integrity
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and implement root cause analysis frameworks
- Partner with product teams to define quality metrics and release readiness criteria
- Drive test strategy for microservices architecture and API integrations
- Mentor junior QA engineers and evangelize testing best practices across departments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with emphasis on SaaS platforms
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium/Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/Java)
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr)
- Strong analytical skills for complex bug investigation and data-driven decision making
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical certification
