Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to enhance testing efficiency
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution and reporting
- Document defects with precision using JIRA and track resolution metrics
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews for test scripts
- Analyze test results to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate with product managers to define quality metrics and release criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with emphasis on automation testing
- Expertise in test automation frameworks and continuous integration tools
- Strong knowledge of API testing (REST/SOAP) and performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect lifecycle management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- ISTQB certification or equivalent quality assurance credentials
- Proficiency in SQL, Linux, and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
