Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and custom frameworks to accelerate testing cycles
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define quality standards and KPIs
- Execute exploratory testing and root cause analysis for complex technical issues
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines with automated test suites and quality gates
- Mentor QA team members and champion continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct security and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities
- Report and track defects through JIRA with clear metrics and actionable insights
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with focus on automation and test strategy
- Expert proficiency in Selenium, Cypress, and JavaScript/Python automation frameworks
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test cases
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
