Join our award-winning engineering team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at PrecisionTech Solutions, where innovation meets excellence. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality at every stage of the development lifecycle, from initial design to final deployment. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week while maintaining a dynamic presence in our state-of-the-art downtown San Francisco office.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead end-to-end testing of complex financial applications, ensuring 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Analyze test data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with product managers to define acceptance criteria and quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience without degree)
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python, Java)
- Proven experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and QA best practices in fintech or SaaS industries
- Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or ISTQB Advanced Test Engineer preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience in defect tracking systems (Jira, Bugzilla)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
