Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Lead QA initiatives for cloud-native applications and microservices architecture
- Drive defect lifecycle management using JIRA and maintain detailed test documentation
- Collaborate with DevOps to implement infrastructure-as-code testing strategies
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality standards across the organization
- Analyze test metrics and provide actionable insights to improve product quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of QA experience with SaaS or cloud-based applications
- Expertise in automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Certified Agile Tester (CAT) or ISTQB Advanced Level certification preferred
