Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test cases using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate validation cycles
- Identify, document, and track defects with precision using JIRA and defect management systems
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and implement robust solutions
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and user experience gaps
- Maintain and enhance test documentation, including test cases and user stories
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with a focus on web and mobile applications
- Proficiency in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/JavaScript)
- Expertise in test methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical skills with experience in defect analysis and root cause identification
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, REST Assured)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
