Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Implement automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document defects in JIRA
- Lead QA initiatives for cloud-based SaaS platforms with 99.99% uptime requirements
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for continuous integration pipelines
- Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and drive preventative measures
- Optimize test coverage strategies for microservices architecture
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with SaaS products and Agile methodologies
- Expertise in automation frameworks (Java/Python) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Strong proficiency in REST API testing with Postman and SoapUI
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, K6) and security testing (OWASP ZAP)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or ISTQB Advanced Level certification preferred
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into test cases
