Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing for cloud-native applications
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium and Cypress to achieve 80%+ test coverage
- Develop robust CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and integrate quality gates into DevOps workflows
- Execute exploratory testing on complex payment processing systems and identify edge cases
- Collaborate with product managers to define acceptance criteria and quality standards
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish continuous improvement processes
- Analyze defect trends using JIRA and Confluence to drive proactive quality measures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA with 2+ years in fintech or regulated industries
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/Java)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Proven track record of implementing shift-left quality practices in agile environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
