Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing for cloud-native applications
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate release cycles
- Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and quality gateways
- Execute exploratory testing and defect management in JIRA with detailed reporting
- Mentor QA engineers on continuous integration pipelines and shift-left testing
- Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and drive preventive actions
Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA roles with 3+ years in test automation and CI/CD integration
- Expertise in Selenium, Appium, and end-to-end testing frameworks
- Proficient in programming languages (Python/Java) and scripting
- Strong experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certified in ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent
- Experience testing microservices architectures and REST APIs
- Track record of reducing defect escape rates by 40%+
