Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead test automation initiatives using Selenium/Cypress to accelerate delivery cycles
- Execute manual and automated testing across web/mobile applications in Agile/Scrum environments
- Collaborate with Product/Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Document test cases, defects, and quality metrics using JIRA/TestRail
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive continuous improvement in QA processes
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical defects and implement preventive measures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience in SaaS/technology environments
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST-assured)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology
- Proven track record of reducing defect escape rates by 40%+
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
